The
World Architecture 100 is published by British-based
Building Design magazine and includes an annual survey of the world’s largest architectural practices. They are also asked to pick their favourite professional partners, including services and structural engineers, contractors, cost consultants and project managers.
“We are proud to be once again recognized as the best building services engineers and ranked second for structural engineering by global architects. Our objective is to make architectural vision a reality and thanks to our dedicated and creative staff we have been delivering successful projects around the globe, collaborating with world-renowned architects”, says Vincent Tse, Managing Director, Building Services at WSP in China.
Vincent Tse has a front-row seat for China’s extraordinary high-rise boom - in CTBUH’s projection of the world’s 20 tallest buildings in 2020, his team has worked on 11.
“In Asia, we have a great relationship with some of the largest global architects including Kohn Pedersen Fox, Gensler, Foster + Partners and SOM. We are working together on a number of tall towers across the continent, often exceeding 500 m in height.”
“Over the last few years, WSP has significantly grown and we are thrilled that global architectural practices recognize that the quality of our services continue to excel”, says Tom Smith, Global Director, Property and Buildings, WSP.
“In Australia, we are working on numerous high-profile projects with firms such as Woods Bagot, Grimshaw, Elenberg Fraser and Foster + Partners”, says Kevin Winward, Executive Chairman, WSP Structures, Australia. “We are able to provide integrated services that don’t only include structural and systems engineering but also specialist disciplines such as façade, fire, acoustics, vertical transportation and security consulting. Our innovative solutions make projects we work on both visually appealing and commercially viable and deliver exceptional value to our clients.”
