Due to open in late 2026, Western Sydney International Airport will be a world-class development delivering passenger and freight services to the growing Sydney region. The thriving Airport and Western Sydney Aerotropolis will help to create an estimated 200,000 new jobs.
This latest announcement continues the partnership between Western Sydney Airport and WSP and includes certification of the Terminal and Specialty Works Package.
Western Sydney International will provide a long term and diverse source of economic activity, with far reaching benefits for the nation's economy by providing an additional gateway for local and international travel in Australia, attracting a greater number of visitors and improved accessibility to interstate services.

Mark Boone, WSP's Aviation Lead in Australia says, “We are proud of our involvement to date in this nation building project and are excited to supplement our strong regionally-based team with subject matter experts from WSP's Global Aviation offer to deliver the Terminal package.
"We're looking forward to working with the Multiplex team in the months and years ahead to make a world class facility at Western Sydney Airport happen. It will certainly be a busy time for our highly skilled team, and we're excited by the challenge."
