We are delighted to welcome Michael Maxwell, Chris Hitchcock and Hemadri Saha to WSP.
Armed with 35 years of experience, Michael Maxwell was recently appointed as Principal Project Manager and Team Manager with our Victorian Water team. He specialises in project management and design management of major water infrastructure, as well as D&C projects and programs.
His position is crucial for supporting our water utility clients in Victoria and Tasmania, to ensure the success of projects, the practicality of designs and help them future proof critical water infrastructure.
Speaking on where he sees opportunities for growth, Michael says, “D&C projects and programs are increasingly important and provide the ability to work on the whole end-to-end project lifecycle, from setting up projects through to commissioning of critical water infrastructure.
“I look forward to adding my knowledge and skills to an already impressive team, and in turn, provide an even greater service offering to our clients in this area, particularly as we help them become future ready.”
Helping Our Clients Solve Their Challenges
Due to population growth and climate change impacts, our water utility clients in Victoria are being challenged to support water security and resilience to future generations.
With experience in wastewater treatment, water supply and recycled water – Chris Hitchcock, Associate Mechanical Engineer, brings a wealth of expertise and experience to our water utility clients.
His key responsibilities include Mechanical design and design management for multidisciplinary treatment programs.
Chris says, “I’m looking forward to contributing to the growth of our water business by helping our local Victorian clients solve their challenges. I also am excited to be working on national programs and projects to secure a sustainable water future across Australia.”
