WSP has announced that Guy Templeton - CEO, Asia Pacific - will retire at the end of the year.
Guy Templeton said: “It’s been wonderful for our team to grow WSP from 400 people in Australia and New Zealand a decade ago to a team of 8,500 now, while also strengthening and expanding our business in Asia.”
He continued, saying: “I’m very proud of the projects we’ve undertaken while I have been CEO from major new roads to renewable power plants to remediation of countless contaminated sites. These important projects have only been possible because of our exceptional talent, coupled with a culture focused on passion, performance and success”.
Greg Kane will take over as CEO for WSP in Australia in 2024. Greg is currently the firm’s COO, was previously WSP's CEO in the Middle East and is a structural engineer with over 20 years of experience in Europe, Australia and the Middle East.
Guy Templeton said: “Greg comes to the CEO position with an in-depth understanding of WSP’s clients and business, and a genuine passion for continuous improvement. I’m looking forward to watching the next evolution of WSP’s Australian business under Greg’s guidance and vision.”
