PRACTICE NOTE 27 DAIRY FARM INFRASTRUCTURE

The purpose of this Practice Note is to provide good practice guidance on the design and construction of some key infrastructure components where their performance and operation is impacted by Farm Dairy Effluent (FDE). 

It is a good-practice reference source for engineering practitioners, contractors, agriculturists, product suppliers, regional council and local authority staff and others involved in the New Zealand dairy industry.

This paper was Opus (now WSP) led and follow on from the dairy effluent discussion, surrounding extended dairy farm infrastructure and cow housing.
