The purpose of the guidelines was to enable IAF applicants to understand the standards and benchmarks considered to be good practice, that are expected to guide their work programmes.
The guidelines are a collection of knowledge and experience amalgamated from a multidisciplinary expert panel of contributors and robustly workshop tested with industry practitioners. The guidelines cover key issues surrounding governance, project management, people engagement, investigation methods, and procurement.
Team members from this project are now retained by the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) as expert advisors.
