Collaborating across the water cycle

We bring together infrastructure engineers, land-use specialists, architects, planners, and water experts—including specialists in hydrology engineering, stormwater design, stormwater consultants, and water sensitive design—who understand how water moves through landscapes. This collaborative approach ensures that decisions around roads, urban development, farms and forestry contribute to system-wide resilience across Aotearoa New Zealand.

Extending the life of water infrastructure

Through capturing and analysing data about the assets themselves—their condition, location and real value—we help our clients to make smarter, more cost-effective decisions to better understand their largest risks and avoid critical failures within their water infrastructure.

Asset management

Delivering Future Ready® water infrastructure

Global population growth, demographic change, rising water demand, ageing infrastructure, and the impacts of climate change are putting pressure on the availability, quality, and distribution of water. In Aotearoa New Zealand, these pressures are compounded by our diverse landscapes, shifting weather patterns, and evolving regulations.

At the same time, there is growing recognition of the importance of embedding Te Mana o te Wai and Mātauranga Māori into water management, ensuring that water is valued and protected as a living taonga (treasure).

The need for new water infrastructure in NZ is critical to meet growing demands. We provide a complete water and wastewater engineering advisory service offering to support governments, municipalities, utilities and water companies in NZ at every project stage—planning, designing, delivering, and maintaining collection and conveyance systems for water and wastewater, including wastewater design and treatment.

Water Planning and Advisory Services

Safeguarding access to clean, safe water

A quarter of the global population cannot access clean, safe drinking water. We guide clients, including water companies across NZ, in developing sustainable strategies for managing freshwater supplies and exploring alternative sources such as desalination, greywater recycling, and reclaimed wastewater.

Our teams are delivering large-scale solutions for treating wastewater and removing contaminants such as arsenic, uranium, and PFAS; cleaning up historic pollution and restoring ecosystems through advanced treatment technologies and proven implementation.
