Tracy has effectively led organisations in both the private and public sector. Her experience spans the planning, emergency management, environment and community services fields, with work undertaken across Australia and offshore. Much of Tracy’s professional experience has focused on delivery, policy, change management and regulation in at scale complex sectors. Before joining IAQ as CEO, Tracy was Australia's National Disability Insurance Scheme Commissioner, and prior to that was Chief Executive of the NSW EPA. Tracy started her career as a town planner in affordable housing and social impact, before moving to a national consultancy firm to establish a social planning and engagement practice. Over the years Tracy has spent time in executive roles in all three levels of government and has amongst other roles, led the Australia's immigration detention program across infrastructure, operations and health both here, and in Nauru and PNG. Tracy has a strong community spirit contributing over 30 years through NFP Board Director roles, and more recently as a NED for growth enterprises. The breadth and depth of Tracy’s experience is testimony of a person with high energy, enthusiasm and focus.
