We have signed a global agreement with Fortescue to help them on their energy transition journey.
Paul Williams, WSP’s Managing Director of Mining and Energy in Australia, says “I’m excited to be the custodian of this agreement on behalf of our global firm to support Fortescue on projects around the globe”.
WSP is providing engineering consulting services on a range of projects. The agreement will enable WSP to support the delivery of Fortescue’s projects and help them realise long-term value across their global portfolio.
As one of the world’s leading professional services consulting firms, WSP has a team of international specialists in renewable energy infrastructure and is well-established helping clients design lasting solutions for the advancement of the built and natural environments. In Australia, WSP has committed to halving the carbon emissions of our designs and advice by 2030.
WSP and Fortescue have a longstanding history of working collaboratively in multiple regions across the globe. Currently, we provide strategic advisory and engineering services in the early phases and full lifecycle on some of Fortescue’s industry leading hydrogen projects.
Rehan Wasti, WSP Canada’s Senior Vice-President, Operations, ERI, says, “To support the global energy transition, we need innovative solutions that will create clean energy to reduce our emissions footprint. Fortescue is a natural partner for WSP, a company that is also committed to working together to help build a sustainable future.”
