WSP continues to grow its presence in North Queensland, strengthening partnerships with clients and communities through the expansion of its Townsville office.
The Townsville office is part of WSP’s strategic plan to further grow our services across the key sectors of Health, Defence, Property, Mining, Water, and Transport in the region. WSP’s multidisciplinary teams have successfully supported major regional projects including the Queensland Country Bank Stadium, the expansion of Townsville University Hospital, James Cook University, RAAF Townsville and Lavarack Barracks.
The newly refurbished space on Sturt Street marks a significant milestone in WSP’s commitment to delivering impactful projects across the region. We celebrated this moment with our clients and team coming together at the James Cook University, a project we delivered The Science Place, Australian Institute of Tropical Health Medicine, Engineering Innovation Place, the new Student Accommodation Building and the Townsville University Hospital – all of which are located in the TropiQ precinct.
Tom Cook, Queensland Regional Director, was thrilled to welcome everyone at the event, noting that the new office space is part of the continued growth of WSP in Australia and our commitment to foster better collaboration with our colleagues and clients.
“This marks our renewed commitment to North Queensland. Our new workplace is more than just a space – it represents our dedication to innovation and collaboration with our colleagues and clients to deliver impactful projects for the benefit of our communities,” Tom said.
