The new Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF), an integral part of Singapore’s long-term plan to meet its solid waste management needs, will be equipped with state-of-the-art solid waste treatment technologies to improve energy and resource recovery from waste. 

An Integrated Resource Recovery (IRR) strategy was developed for the Courtice Water Pollution Control Plant and was a first step towards the sustainability of this 68.2 MLD plant. The study searched for technical solutions to derive value from the plant’s waste and to minimize its inputs. The results not only brought focus to the Region, which lead to the IRR option to pursue further into the design and implementation phase, but also immediate improvements with the implementation of short-term solutions.

WSP worked in consultation with NSW DPIE, Moree Plains Shire Council and the broader consultant team to deliver a 40-year Structure Plan for the Moree Special Activation Precinct (SAP).

The Social Infrastructure Assessment (SIA) was delivered by Elton Consulting, now part of WSP, as one component of the Structure Plan, for the Moree SAP. Its purpose was to identify existing and future needs for community facilities, social infrastructure and the programmatic elements that will support an achievement of the Moree SAP vision.
