Ryan Brain is WSP in Canada’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining the company in January 2019, Ryan was a Regional Managing Partner at Deloitte Canada, based in Toronto. Over a 20-plus year career, Ryan has focused on various growth initiatives, unparalleled client service, and bringing together diverse and multifunctional teams. He is a Certified Management Consultant and has a Master of Management Sciences from the University of Waterloo.
Chief Operating Officer, Canada
Gregory M. Northcott
Providing operational leadership and direction for all business lines nationally, Mr. Northcott was appointed as Chief Operating Officer in January 2017. Previously Vice President of Operations for the Canadian Transportation business, he brings to the new role more than 15 years of experience in the engineering and construction industries, which includes operational leadership on large Design-Build-Finance-Operate /Public-Private-Partnership and Design-Build infrastructure projects.
Chief People Officer, Canada
Zoe Nutten brings deep expertise in the areas of People Strategy and Management from a career rooted in Strategy and Operations. This includes workplace transformation, setting talent strategy, broadening employee development programs, professional development and resource staffing. As Chief People Officer, Ms. Nutten helps drive WSP’s culture to higher performance levels through partnership, collaboration and innovation on critical strategic human capital issues.
General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Canada
André Desautels brings with him over 18 years of experience in managing complex international negotiations, operations, mergers and acquisitions, organizational transformations and compliance. He has a track record for working hand-in-hand with the business to offer sound legal advice and innovative thinking supporting organizational growth. Prior to joining the company, he served as Global Vice President of Contracts & Compliance Officer for AGT International, a growing global security organization based in Zurich, Switzerland. Previously, he held various General Counsel and Legal Affairs positions in Toronto, New York and Montréal.

Executive VP, Advisory & Innovation
Throughout his 16-year career at WSP, Eric Peissel has managed teams in Quebec, Ontario and Western Canada and since January 2018 is providing national leadership for the Transportation business line. Mr. Peissel holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from McGill University along with a B.A. in Urban Studies from Concordia University.
Vice President, Corporate Marketing and Communications, Canada
Navia Sharma is Vice President, Corporate Marketing and Communications for WSP in Canada. She brings 20 years of leadership experience in the industrial and consumer product sectors, brand strategy, program management and business development. At WSP, Navia leads brand, marketing and communications, as well as government, media and industry relations. She joined WSP in 2017 and is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Trinity College and Cornell University.
Vice President, IT, Canada
Marie-Ève Roy brings more than 20 years of experience leading business transformation projects and driving collaboration and efficiency between business groups and IT. As Vice-President, IT, Marie-Ève is responsible for the strategic journey of our IT group and ensuring alignment with WSP’s strategic plan and business needs, as well as driving innovation and digital transformation. Marie-Ève joined WSP in 2019.
Global Director, Major Projects & Programs/Executive Market Leader - Quebec
Marie-Claude Dumas was appointed to the position of Global Director, Major Projects & Programs/Executive Market Leader - Quebec in January 2020. She has more than 20 years of management and consulting experience acquired with various multinationals, including SNC-Lavalin, Bain & Company and Nortel. Marie-Claude holds a Bachelor of Engineering, a Master of Applied Science from Polytechnique Montréal and an MBA from HEC Montréal.
Business Line Executive, Buildings
Terry Tommason is an executive level major program/project and development executive with 24+ years industry experience on some of the world’s largest and most complex projects. Prior to joining WSP, Mr. Tommason held several leading roles, including Managing director / Operations director for two leading multi-disciplinary consultancy firms: Arcadis and Atkins. In addition to managing the business and associated operations, he was directly engaged and accountable for pursuing, converting and delivering major projects.

Olivier was appointed National Business Line Executive, Environment, in April 2019. He has been with WSP for nearly 15 years, holding progressively more senior roles within the Environment team, most recently as leader of Environment for Quebec. A geologist by training, Olivier is known as a dynamic and results-driven leader with a structured and focused approach to client engagement.
Business Line Executive, Transportation & Infrastructure
With more than 31 years of professional experience managing a wide variety of linear infrastructure and land development projects, Joe Sframeli operates as WSP’s Executive Vice President of Infrastructure. Joe has extensive experience in all aspects of complex infrastructure work related to site grading, utility infrastructure, stormwater management and site servicing for both private developers and public agencies. His diverse portfolio of projects spans from largescale trunk feedermains to the design of complex integrated site servicing solutions for international luxury hospitality redevelopment projects. Joe has a B.A.Sc., in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto, Ontario.
Joe’s hands-on approach to problem solving, planning and design is also reflected in his leadership style with both staff and clients. The Infrastructure Business Line offers multidisciplinary engineering services related to land development and municipal engineering, water and wastewater, urban planning, landscape architecture and urban design, and project management across Canada.

Satvinder Flore was appointed Business Executive, Energy, Resources & Industry (ERI) in October 2019. Over his 18-year career, he has held senior-level international executive roles with a focus on business development, strategy, operational planning and mergers & acquisitions in global energy markets. Satvinder holds a BA (Hons) from the University of York (England).
